252: How to Create a Twelve-Month Marketing Plan with ChatGPT | Azul Terronez

Using AI to Launch and Market Your Book

“It’s like having your own virtual assistant who will do a lot of things for you without you wasting a lot of time trying to describe it.” —Azul Terronez

ChatGPT is an AI (artificial intelligence) learning tool that is able to have an “intelligent” conversation with you about topics of your choosing. There are free and paid subscription versions of this AI.

On this week’s episode of “Authors Who Lead,” I talk about how to use ChatGPT to create a twelve-month marketing plan to launch your book.

Why Use ChatGPT as an Author?

The reason that many authors don’t take action on their marketing plans isn’t that they don’t know a lot about their content or that they don’t have a big enough audience. The real roadblock is that they are overwhelmed and don’t know where to begin. By using ChatGPT, you can bypass some roadblocks that are keeping you from implementing a marketing plan.

In this podcast, I talk about the different questions I ask the ChatGPT AI and what kind of information I give it in order to create a twelve-month marketing plan, complete with weekly prompts and suggestions for live events, social media, email, and other marketing ideas. ChatGPT is a learning AI and will continue to add to the conversation as you give it more input, so it is easy to customize the generated marketing plan to your schedule and your book’s needs.

I also share:

  • That a great marketing plan should include pre-launch, launch, and post-launch ideas
  • Why it’s a good idea to have an email provider
  • The importance of a social media presence and how ChatGPT can help create posts
  • What kind of live events you can participate in
  • What Goodreads is and why it is important for authors
  • How to use ChatGPT to create hashtags and ideas for images
  • About our upcoming masterclass on how exactly to use ChatGPT to create your marketing plan

I’m so grateful that you listened to this podcast. I appreciate anybody who leaves a review; it really helps inspire us to keep contributing and giving content here.

What was your biggest takeaway from this episode? Have you used ChatGPT? How do you feel about using AI as an author? In the comments, share your biggest obstacles.

That’s all for this week. If you have a message inside you that needs to be written, know that you can write and publish the book that’s been on your heart. Don’t delay—get out of your head, put words on the page today, and make a movement with your message!
